Construction Equipment
——————-

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone is aware of how I can sell a whole bunch of old construction equipment (in NYC). There was a death in the family and I can across a bunch of tools ranging from wheelbarrows and hammers to cement mixers and power tools. What is the best way of selling all this. I know that eBay and Craigslist are options but is there any brick and mortar place that I can bring them to.

Thanks!

  1. Breath on the Wind says:

Contact me. I may be able to negotiate a bulk disposal.

A couple of things you might want to consider. Used equipment is not going to get the same price as new equipment. Pawn shops and thrift stores might be an outlet but they are not necessarily going to be particularly helpful.

Ebay involves shipping while Craig’s list does not. However as you are probably aware moving a lot of equipment may also take some time. It sounds to me like you are trying to save time.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do and condolences for your loss.
