Green house is the innovative model of building a natural home for long term use with less cost of energy. This thinking comes from the medical model of houses which have designed for give up the loneliness or boredom. But the main reason of using the green house is reducing the energy cost and the better confronts and healthiness of the house. The green house mainly focus to increase the efficiency of using water, air, energy and other resources in its design. This design works on the better health condition and also the environment of the building with the maintenance cost and operation of the building for the purposes. This building is only for reducing the conflict on the building environment as well as on the owner’s health and natural condition and to do these the building designed to increase the use of water, air and other energy resources, increase the health condition of the owner and increase the output of them and reduce the pollution, ravage as well as the ecological squalor. There is a similar concept like green house is known as natural house. This natural building is for using the available natural products with a proper design and green structural design. The sustainable development concept of natural building is also vital to build a green house. The main purposes of green building are reducing functional cost by decreasing the using of energy and other resources and extending the productivity, using environmental products like using the rain water and decrease the heat island outcome. A man who works on green building design seeks to get the ecological and visual relation between the structure and the nearby natural resources. But usually you can not differ the between the sustainable buildings and the less or non-sustainable buildings.
LEED means the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED has a rating system of green building which is developed by USGBC. With this rating system any one can easily build their standard green house. You can find a course of LEED rating system. The course is handled by GBC (Green Building Certification) and any one with this certificate will allows using the acronym Accredited Professional or AP of LEED.
In the recent years, LEED becomes the best standard of constructions along with the six most popular systems. Now LEED has almost 150 AP with roughly 20 committees of 200 or more volunteers. The main purpose of LEED is defined the greenhouse with full design. They want to be the leader in the construction industry with green concept, aware people about the benefits of green house and make this purpose working for the people with great interest.
Green buildings are building to reduce the use of energies comparing with other usually constructed buildings and LEED certify these buildings. These certified buildings become the more healthy and comfortable than other usual buildings and these green buildings are using the less energy with more efficiency than usual buildings. You can find the USGBC list which produces the benefits of a green house of LEED certified will have to be and the benefits can improving air, reducing water waste, engaged, the house owners along with the society.
Constructing a green house with the LEED rating system will make the cost higher for the primary design as well as for construction. If the designer does not understand well the constructing processes this will take more time than estimation. Some of the design and constructing processes are complicated than usual building system and these can make the misunderstanding between the designers, constructors and the owner of that greenhouse and all the processes will delay the whole construction.
There is a lack of instruments of green buildings with the standard of LEED’s requirements and hiring an AP and design consultant will surely increase the whole for the construction. All the above processes have to be fulfilled by the owner to get the LEED certification. Though these costs seem higher now but the overall benefits you will get from your greenhouse will be more than those extra costs. These costs also make your house more comfortable and healthier than the usual builds. The awareness of using green house is increased day by day by the LEED standard and one day every one will use greenhouse with LEED standard.
LEED standard wants to reduce fossil fuel in houses and the USGBC make challenge of 2030 before that year they want to make every house without using fossil fuel which cause the greenhouse gas. LEED wants the efficient using of fossil fuel and they are now looking on the other products. They want to decrease the use of toxic chemicals with the less harmful products like the leather. Though the LEED rating system is just a measurement system not a designing but this make the change to the people to better use of energy.
Using green house concept to decrease the environmental collision of building is a good idea and LEED proposed the rating system to construct a green building. More than 8100 km2 area is using for contracting building every year and 38% of the green house gas are formed from the buildings both commercial and home in US. If we can use green house the total amount of green house gas from buildings will be less than 10% and that will be help to keep the increment of green house gas under control. LEED will show you the process and the system to build your own perfect green house. This will not only decrease the green house gas, it will also decrease the operating cost of your house. Constructing a building with the proper use of LEED rating system is a time costly as well as money costly but the benefits you will get from the green building is 2 or 3 times larger than the main cost. This green building will satisfy you mentally and the environment of your house will be more healthy and comfortable.
